Proxar: A Modern High-Contrast Serif Display

Product Detail

Proxar is an exquisite modern serif display font for projects that demand a “gallery-standard” level of sophistication. Blending classical Roman proportions with contemporary flair, it serves as a premier choice for luxury branding, high-end editorial layouts, and fine-art exhibition materials.

Key Design Characteristics:

• Refined High Contrast: The typeface features a dramatic interplay between elegant, slender horizontal hairlines and bold vertical stems, evoking a sense of high-fashion luxury.
• Artistic Ligature System: A standout feature of Proxar is its extensive library of 42 unique ligatures. These creative pairings (such as UN, LO, and RA) allow characters to nestle together for a custom, hand-crafted look.
• Precision Serifs: The serifs are sharp and elegantly bracketed, providing a sturdy foundation that ensures excellent legibility at both display and sub-headline sizes.
• Unique Letterform Details: Notable for its distinctive character shapes, such as the fluid, curved terminals on the “R” and “A,” which provide a subtle artistic signature.
